TRADITIOS CANDY

2001 Registered Half Arabian, Half solid Paint mare. Candy is starting Level 2 Parelli. She is a very sweet RB extrovert mare. Beautiful bay 15.1 hands. Her sire is Mr. Candy Man a big solid bk and white Paint. Her dam is Westover Magnolia. She goes back to *Bask++ on both her grandparents side.

I have been riding her a lot. She is great under saddle. Knows her leads, leg yields, sidepasses, turn on the forehand, haunches with no problems. She can work a gate forward and backwards. Candy has been learning to jump also. She is doing well. The biggest jump she has done is barrels on their sides. She really seems to enjoy jumping. I never have had to put shoes on her, her feet are solid and she is very sound, never a problem. She is easy to catch in 40 acres, comes up to you. She trailers, clips, ties, no vices. She has a hearty appetite too! Easy keeper. She is very light and easy to teach.

When I bought her she had been trained for Polo. She came to me skinny and u-necked. They had ridden her with a standing martingale or something of that sort. It took a couple months to get her to enjoy riding again. I don't know what they did to her but she is so sweet and willing I can't imagine anyone needing to be rough with her, but I am guessing they were just by her actions. Now she is a totally different horse and loves life. Asking $2,500.

SIOFHICE

2008 Purebred Arabian Chestnut Filly.  Born 4/8/08.  This Fire An Ice granddaughter has lots of pazzaz and looks like she will have the flaxen mane and tail like her sire and grandsire before her! Her grandsire has won multiple halter and western pleasure championships. She is flashy, beautiful, athletic and intelligent.  She has great movement - great hock action - very high stepping! and that little something extra you look for in a show horse.  She will be very versatile and good at whatever you can think for her to do.  Fantastic pedigree (click on pedigree link below to view details), excellent broodmare prospect.  She is very friendly, playful and confident.  Started since birth using Parelli Program.  $3500.  Discount available to PNH home.

LADY HAWK

This is Lady Hawk!  The morning she was born, I went out into the pasture to check on her.  She was sleeping like an angel with a giant hawk feather by her face.  So I called her Lady Hawk.  She was imprinted as a foal, is not afraid of hardly anything, very curious and good natured.  Her dam is a TB, sired by Twilight Agenda.  Her dam raced at Retama Race Park in Texas, and bowed a shin before she could get her career off.  She did run a bullet work on the track one morning (fastest time of the day).  Her grandsire Twilight Agenda had a career earnings of $2,174,529.00.  Lady Hawk's sire is Blue Dot Cracker QH.  She was started as a 3-year-old by Chris Ruthven.  He rode her for 5 months, then she was sent to Meg Ellis for fine tuning.  She is very athletic and willing.  Priced at $2500.

KHANUKATCHMI

2006 Purebred Arabian Bay Gelding.  This Khemosabi grandson (click here to view pedigree) is a beautiful mover and has a very nice head.  He is athletic, intelligent, and his trot is to die for!  Already almost 15 hands and still growing!  Very pleasant, playful disposition - loves people and is typically one of the first at the gate yelling "pick me!".  Would be a credit to any show barn.  He has a mind to match his body.  Leads well, picks up feet, and trailer loads nicely.  Has been tied to picket line successfully and recently wore the bareback pad & cinch for the first time with no problems at all.  Very confident, sensitive & willing (LB Extrovert).  Started since birth using the Parelli Program, just started Level 2 ground skills/patterns.  $3500 to PNH home.  Must see in person to appreciate.  DVD available upon request.

REGALEO TEXAS TWIST

2002 registered AQHA Quarter Horse gelding.  Tex will make an excellent cow/cutting horse prospect or trail horse.  He is Leo & King bred (click here to view pedigree).  14.3 hands, very stout and well muscled in both the HQ and shoulder.  He is still very green under saddle and slightly cold-backed (seems to be sensitivity to saddle fit issues) but works through it quickly with a good warmup and a well-fitted saddle (Parelli Performer works great).  He was started under saddle as a 2-year-old by a "traditional" trainer, then had 2 months of  training w/Meg Ellis in summer 2007.  Have taken him unofficially through most of Level 2 ground skills so far with good success.  He is not spooky by nature, has very good ground manners and trailer loads well, but tends towards dominant (LB Introvert, w/a very few extroverted tendancies).  He loves the water and going to new places and will make a great trail horse.  Needs confident rider, would be great for an Advanced Level 2 or Level 3 student looking to finish his training.  $2500 to PNH home.
