PARELLI TOURNAMENTS

At the Instructor Conference at Stoneleigh Park in England, Pat Parelli was very excited about the future of Parelli Tournament Games.  Parelli plans to put their time and resources towards developing the Parelli Games all over the USA (then around the world).  Pat wants to have local, regional, national and international tournaments.  He plans to have national sponsors funding prizes.  He's developing games that recognize our love for competition without sacrificing the relationship with the horse.  Let me know if you have any suggestions for tournament games.  I'll pass them on to Pat (in your name).

PARELLI PATTERNS

I've never seen Pat and LInda Parelli so excited and passionate about  
the future of Parelli and changing the world for horses as in England  
last week.         Pat and LInda believe that the new Parelli Patterns  
will accelerate students through the Parelli program.    In the past,  
students would get bogged down and spend way too long in one level  
without progress.      Now, you can see the entire program laid out  
concisely.     You can go all the way through Level 4 on the ground if  
you are not ready to ride your horse.   Pat uses this system to  
develop his own horses.     You've seen most of these patterns before,  
but now they are laid out in the proper order to help you progress  
through Level 4.     Now I'll be able to precisely chart each of my  
horses and my students in each savvy.       Please use the following

PARELLI ASSESSMENTS

Have you looked at the draft of the new Assessments on the Savvy Club  
website?      It's great to see the whole thing laid out all the way  
through Level 4.    I am using the Parelli Patterns and the new Assessments to see where each of my horses rates in their development.  You have until January to finish current official assessments before the new ones kick in.    Send me a tape or DVD along with a copy of your assessment sheets and $5 per task to officially assess.   

In the new system, you will be able to assess one Savvy at a time.  You'll receive a certificate for each Savvy passed, and you can go all the way through Level 4 in one or two Savvies.  You can specialize in On-Line and Liberty and never ride if you wish.  You can get Level 4 on the ground while working on Level 2 in the saddle.  You will receive your string when you have passed all four Savvies in a particular level.
