At a recent Parelli Natural Horsemanship Liberty Class, Kim VanBuskirk of Magic Vista Ranch in Justin, TX, had fun with her young gelding.  In this clip, she takes advantage of his huge play drive and extroverted behaviors to teach him to drive her in a circle with the carrot stick and string!  Very fun clip.

One of the Parelli tasks that gets a lot of people stuck in Level 2 is the Sideways Task.  At a recent clinic, Kristy Stafford passed her Level 2 by completing this final task.  We wanted to post this in the hopes that it would help others and to demonstrate what Christi is looking for in the Level 2 Sideways Without A Fence Task.

During a recent Parelli Natural Horsemanship Level 2 Camp, Joe Stafford and his Quarter Horse gelding, Brego, learned how to make use of their imaginations.  While practicing with the Level 2 task of leading by the front foot, Brego started offering his front foot every time Joe asked him to YoYo backwards.  Building on this, Joe is now teaching Brego a new command for the lifting and pawing of the front foot.  Last word was that Brego is still offering the waving foot whenever he can!
